There is no shortage of things to do during your stay with us. From beaches, to mountain walks, museums, castles and our famous Welsh Highland Railway – Porthmadog caters for all tastes!

Beach walks – Don’t forget to pack your deck chairs! You might wish to just relax on one of these fantastic beaches.

Borth-Y-Gest, Black Rock Sands and Morfa Bychan are all local. Criccieth  5 miles, Pwllheli 14 miles, Llanbedrog 17 miles, Nefyn 19 miles, Porthdinllaen Morfa Nefyn 19 miles, Aberdaron 29 miles, Abersoch 20 miles, Traeth Porthor (Whistling Sands) 29 miles. (All are average distances to these wonderful beaches).

Castles – Criccieth, Harlech and Caernafon.

Places of interest – Portmerion, Plas Brondanw gardens Llanfrothen. Lloyd George museum Llanystumdwy, Many National Trust Properties, Zip Wire ride the longest in Europe Penrhyn Quarry Bethesda, Electric Mountain Llanberis, Llechwedd Slate Caverns Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Railways – Ffestiniog, Welsh Highland, Snowdonia Mountain, Talyllyn, Llanberis Lake and The Cambrian Coast Line from Pwllheli to Machynlleth.
