Restaurant Bookings Terms and Conditions
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of £10 per person is required 60 days prior to your event date.
Bookings not secured with a deposit by the due date may be released without notice.
Pre-Orders
Completed menu pre-orders must be returned no later than 14 days before your event by email.
We may be unable to guarantee menu choices submitted after this date.
Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid in full 7 days prior to the event.
Any outstanding balance may result in the booking being cancelled
Arrival Time
We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your dining time if you wish to enjoy drinks in the bar before being seated
If you wish to go straight to the table, we advise you arrive 5 minutes before your booked time to ensure we have time to get you settled and drinks served before serving dinner.
Amendments & Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the event will not incur further charges beyond the loss of the deposit.
Reductions in guest numbers within 24 hours of the event may be charged in full.
Deposits paid for guests who subsequently cancel may be offset against the remaining balance for the group, provided sufficient notice is given.
Group Bookings
Unless agreed in advance, a single bill will be presented for the group organiser to settle.
Menu & Pricing
Menu items may be subject to change due to availability from suppliers. Any substitutions will be of equal or greater value.
Dietary Requirements
Any dietary requirements or allergies must be communicated with pre-orders
Whilst every effort is made to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Service Charge
An optional 10% service charge will be added to the final bill.

Minimum Stay
Guests must book a minimum of two consecutive nights, with the stay taking place between 28th November and 22nd December 2026
Advance Booking
Accommodation must be booked at least 14 days before the arrival date to qualify for this offer
Festive Dining Offer
Guests qualifying for the offer will receive one complimentary bottle of Prosecco per room when dining from our Festive Menu during their stay
Alternative Drinks
The complimentary bottle of Prosecco may be exchanged for a bottle of house wine or a suitable soft-drink alternative
Restaurant Availability
Our restaurant has limited availability throughout the festive period. Guests should check restaurant availability with the hotel before confirming their accommodation booking. The offer cannot be guaranteed if we do not have restaurant availability during your stay
One Redemption Per Stay
The complimentary drinks offer is available once per room, per qualifying stay, regardless of the number of nights booked
Direct Bookings Only
This offer is available only for accommodation booked directly with the Royal Sportsman Hotel via phone, email or the booking form on our own website. Bookings made through third-party websites or travel agents do not qualify
Festive Menu
The complimentary bottle is only available when dining from the Festive Menu and cannot be redeemed separately or exchanged for cash
Pre-orders
Any food pre-orders required for the Festive Menu must be provided in accordance with the restaurant’s booking terms and deadlines

All accommodation bookings remain subject to the Royal Sportsman Hotel’s standard deposit, amendment and cancellation terms and conditions
