Reception, Check-in & Check-out
Reception is available daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm.
Breakfast check-in:
On arrival, please wait at the restaurant entrance to be seated by a member of staff.
Check-in time is from 3:00pm.
If you require a slightly earlier check-in, please speak with reception in advance to see if we are able to accommodate this.
Check-out time is 10:30am.
If you require a slightly later check-out, please speak with reception in advance. Late check-out is subject to availability.
Bar & Restaurant Information
The bar is located on the ground floor.
Opening hours: 11:00am – 11:00pm
Last orders: 10:45pm
If no staff are present at the bar, please visit reception.
Restaurant opening times:
- In season: 6:00pm – last orders at 8:30pm
- Winter: 6:00pm – last orders at 8:00pm
At quieter times, advance booking is essential, as serving times may vary.

Weekends and Bank Holidays 8:00am to 10:0am
Guests are welcome to help themselves to the buffet, including fruit juice, cereals, yoghurt, and fresh fruit.
Cooked breakfasts and hot drinks are served to your table by our team.
Room Information & Housekeeping
Rooms Are Serviced Every Morning
If you do not wish your room to be serviced, please:
Inform reception, or
Hang the “Do Not Disturb” sign on your door
To have towels replaced, please leave them in the bath or shower tray.
All Rooms Include:
Tea and coffee making facilities (replenished daily during housekeeping)

Hairdryer (located in drawers or wardrobes)
Complimentary toiletries (found on the window ledge or in the bathroom cabinet)
Shaver point (inside the bathroom cabinet or on the mirror frame)

Buses
Regular bus services run through Porthmadog, connecting the town with nearby destinations including Pwllheli, Criccieth, Caernarfon, and surrounding areas. Services operate throughout the day.
Trains
The railway station in Porthmadog provides services along the Cambrian Coast line, connecting the town with destinations such as Pwllheli, Harlech, Barmouth, and Machynlleth, with further connections available across the UK rail network.

Fire Safety & Smoking Policy
Please familiarise yourself with the fire escape instructions displayed on your bedroom door.
The hotel is fully fitted with smoke detectors and automatic fire doors. A flashing red light on the detector indicates normal operation.
The entire hotel is strictly non-smoking. Smoking will trigger the alarm system and incur a cleaning charge:
- £75 per night (standard rooms)
- £100 per night (superior/large doubles/family rooms)
- In addition, you may be required to pay for an extra night’s stay if the room cannot be used due to lingering smells
In the event of a fire, please gather outside the Job Centre next door.
