Each room is thoughtfully designed with a comfortable work desk and a cosy seating area, providing the perfect balance of practicality and relaxation. Guests may choose between a super-king or twin bed configuration, allowing flexibility to suit individual preferences.
The elegant en-suite bathrooms feature a bath with an overhead shower, complemented by plush bathrobes for an added touch of luxury. Complimentary Welsh bottled water is provided on arrival, ensuring a refreshing welcome.

Large Double Rooms
Large Double Rooms at The Royal Sportsman Hotel offer generous space and classic comfort, providing an inviting setting for a relaxing stay.
Located on the first floor, these spacious rooms are thoughtfully designed to give guests plenty of room to unwind after a day exploring Porthmadog and the surrounding landscapes of North Wales.
Each room features a comfortable king-size bed, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The en-suite bathrooms are well appointed, with most rooms offering a bath with an overhead shower, while one room features a convenient walk-in shower.
Family Rooms Plus
Our Courtyard Family Rooms offer spacious and flexible accommodation, thoughtfully designed with families and guests travelling with dogs in mind. These generously sized rooms can comfortably accommodate up to three guests, featuring a super-king bed — which can also be configured as twin beds — along with an additional single bed.
Each room is designed to provide a relaxed and welcoming space to unwind after a day exploring the local area. Three rooms feature modern en-suite bathrooms with a bath and overhead shower, while one room includes a fully accessible wet room.
Located within our peaceful courtyard, every room also benefits from its own private outdoor space, offering a quiet spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
These rooms provide the perfect blend of comfort, space, and convenience, with dogs warmly welcome to join your stay (additional charge applies).
Standard Double Rooms
Our Standard Double Rooms offer a cosy yet stylish retreat, thoughtfully designed to provide comfort and relaxation. Each room features a comfortable double bed and a modern en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, creating the perfect space to unwind after a day of exploring.
Five of these rooms are conveniently located on the ground floor within our courtyard, making them ideal for guests with limited mobility or those travelling with their dogs (a small additional charge applies).
For guests who prefer a pet-free environment, we also offer five Standard Double Rooms located on the first and second floors and maintained as pet-free rooms, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable stay.
Single Rooms
Our Single Rooms equipped with a comfortable single bed offer a cosy and comfortable retreat, thoughtfully designed for the solo traveller. Located on the first floor, each room is carefully furnished with a comfortable bed, a work desk for productivity, and a soft chair for relaxing at the end of the day.
Whether visiting for business or leisure, our Single Rooms provide a welcoming and comfortable space to unwind.

Accessible Room
Our Accessible Courtyard Family Room offers the same generous space and flexibility as our other Courtyard Family Rooms, accommodating up to three guests. The room features a super-king bed that can also be configured as twin beds, along with an additional single bed.
Designed with accessibility in mind, this room includes a fully accessible wet room, carefully planned to support wheelchair users and guests requiring step-free facilities.
Situated within our peaceful courtyard, the room also benefits from its own private outdoor space, providing a calm and comfortable area to relax during your stay. Dogs are also warmly welcome (additional charge applies).
